Spring, summer and autumn
Description
Most people do not need four sleeping bags. They need one that works from a cold spring morning through to a mild autumn night, and this is that bag: rated 30 to 70°F, with the comfort band sitting around 40 to 60°F where most camping actually happens.
At 86.6 by 31.5 inches it fits campers up to 5'11", with an envelope cut and a roomy foot box rather than the zipped-in feel of a mummy bag. The compression sack pulls it down to roughly 16 by 9 inches — about 25% smaller than rolling it alone.

Care instructions
Built to cover three seasons, not one
Four things that decide whether one bag can really do spring, summer and autumn.

30 to 70°F, comfort at 40–60
The limit rating is 30 to 70°F, and the band most people actually sleep in is 40 to 60. That covers a cold spring morning, a normal summer night and an autumn trip without swapping bags — which is the entire argument for a three-season bag over a specialist one.

Hood, pocket, and a closure that holds
A drawstring hood you can pull in when the temperature drops, an inside pocket for a phone or headlamp, and a double velcro closure over the zipper so it does not creep open in the night. Then the whole thing goes in the washing machine.

25% smaller in the sack
Fold it in thirds lengthways, fold again from the bottom, roll to the top. The included compression sack takes it from around 17 inches down to 13 — roughly a quarter of the space back, which is the difference between riding inside the pack and strapped to the outside.

86.6 by 31.5 inches, about 4 lb
Long enough for campers up to 5'11" and wide enough that you are not pinned at the shoulders, with a foot box you can actually move in. Packed in its sack it is roughly 16 by 9 inches and about 4 lb all in.
Warm enough. Small enough. All year enough.
The numbers that decide whether one bag can cover your whole season.
